Have the steam version of Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition. It has been working fine for a while, but between last night and today it stopped working. Now it just launches the screen goes black for a second, then drops to desktop. I can hear the splash screen sound and the first page music/audio but cannot make it take focus.
Steam is up to date. D:OS is up to date (according to Steam). Updated graphics drives (nVidia 1660Ti). Even tried making sure my Windows 10 had all updates applied. Makes no difference.
Tried telling nVidia GeForce Experience to optimize, no difference.
Tried setting Disable Fullscreen Optimizations and Run As Admin on the executable. No difference (except to ask for permission when RunAsAdmin was set).
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no difference.
Tried deleting the graphics setting file graphicSettigns.lsx. It got recreated but no change.
Anything else I should try or deeper help to obtain?
