Hello friends!

Allow me to highlight an issue I've come to face in our newest baldurs gate, one that was also present in DOS 2. Precisely, the bartering of goods is currently done by the companion that holds the item. I would love for this to be changed, so that the most charming and daring of companions will always sell the chosen goods, ensuring you the bestest and fairest of prices. Surely, such a feat is not beyond the impossible for our good friends at Larian Studios, I trust?

With that, Sigmar's blessing upon you, may you have a good day!

I cannot change this name anymore, please send help.

I agree with OP, some skills really should be secondarily labeled as "party skills". Bartering should be such one. If a group of people show up at a shop. Why in the world would it not just be the general consensus that the most charismatic of the group haggle for the best deals.

Unless it was a specific intention for a particular person to talk to someone, then that could be that. But if its just shopping, let the guy who talks the best get everyone's bags and do his thing for the group.

Yes, in some instances Larian should treat skills as party wide (use highest score). I can see appeal of having a guy to barter in 4 coop game, but when you control all of them it’s just tedious.
