So, I freed Sazza, had her killed for betraying me, told the drow that I would seize the grove with her (which is a doublecross), and then defended the Grove against her (the triplecross). Now, I've saved Halsin in other games - he has a ton of goblins to fight through - way more than I fought through - including that you had to kill all 3 goblin leaders. Yet, as I figured this would lead to it being a bit easier for me to go through the goblin base, instead Halsin is freed suddenly and the goblins are all treated as defeated. I just don't get how. I killed that same drow before ever making it to Halsin without the doublecross and that wasn't enough to free him - killed as many goblins too. It just doesn't seem right.

In my first run I killed all 3 goblin leader but I forgot to free Halsin. I found Halsin waiting for me at the Groove. He told me that he took advantage of the chaos at the goblin camp and he escaped.
(If I remember right, between killing the goblins and returning to the Groove, I slept and I visited other areas.) Two versions seem coherent to me.
