Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Raanar vs. Humans

I've been to the Temple Town in Act 3, and have heard about the ranking system they have, and solving quests increases your rank. Now, I've just met the Raanar Camp, and had to choose which camp I show allegiance to.

Is there any significance in choosing one or the other? I choose the Raanar just in case they all would gang up on me at once, but I have a save game from before this encounter. Can I do quests for both, or do I really have to choose?

Any info on this subject is appreciated.
