I guess the first issue is that I play on stadia. I have joked before that us stadia folk feel like the forgotten the stepchildren. Patches and fixes don't come on the same day as they do with steam or GOG. And there are several technical issues with the controller. I do understand that controller support is only in beta but there are a lot of issues and things that are just missing.
Character creation is a mess with the stadia controller. Trying to adjust appearance is virtually impossible because there's no way to see what hair colour you are picking for example. As you scroll through the appearance options half of them just disappear. The bottom half of the options have to be chosen blind because you can't see what you are clicking on. Sometimes if you scroll up and down eventually you land on the hairstyle and you can then select through them as you normally would but most of the time you just can't see it as an option. [img]

These screenshots show what you can see and anything you can't see here can't be seen during setting up the appearance. The options are there you just can't see them. If you carefully count how many selections down and over the hair colour you want to select is you can come pretty close but it shouldn't be a math challenge choosing red hair.
There are also no tooltips available during character creation. If I am trying to build a ranger there is nothing to tell me what a keeper of the veil is and what a mage breaker is just as examples. It is the same thing for all the classes. For us stadia, people to find out what these things are we have to go to third party websites and search out the information. That's kind of a pain in the butt.
When you finish saving the Druid Grove you are supposed to place a rune "totem of the wolf" if I remember correctly. There is no way to combine the totem of the Wolf with the slot where it's supposed to be placed. Which means I can't get my loot for completing the quest. That is a drag.
Trying to scroll through spells or items to add to the hot bar is another thing that you have to do blind because it just doesn't show you what you're trying to select. You can add the item find if you go into your inventory but you can't do it through the option to set what is in your Hotbar.
You see the little marks on the map that tell you where you're supposed to go but there's no way to scroll over them to see what quest they involve. I've seen screenshots of people playing with steam or GOG and they're able to stroll over the yellow Square to see what is there. We cannot do that with the controller on stadia.
Other than these technical issues I absolutely love the game! I played the first two when they were brand new and I was old then but they were made by a company in the city I was from and I loved them. The best games I had ever played. Like I say, I'm old. I played on the original Atari and I had a pong when it was new. I'm old. That's why I play on stadia. I'm not a gamer who will be playing 18 different games this year. I will be playing Baldur's Gate 3. There was no way I was going to buy an expensive gaming computer just to play one game even if it does seem like it will be the best game ever. Stadia was the way to go for me. I play on a Chromecast Ultra on my big TV and I love it!
Keep up the great work! You are making what I believe will be the best video game ever! I can't wait for the full game to be released but I guess I have to. Hahaha. Happy holidays.
