Got 50+ hours into this game and these are my three biggest peeves:

1. Increase party size to 5 (or 6?). 4 is much too limiting. Both BG1 and Bg2 had 6. Maybe they knew something, since they were the greatest games ever made imo.
2. Provide an "Auto Sort" function for character inventories. Maybe there already is? Did I miss a button?
3. Fix the "poor party following" thing. I get ever so tired of fetching party members stuck on stairs, ladders, and rocks. I have even had to quick travel to clear the problem. Annoying.

Otherwise I love the game, and can't wait to play my favorite toon: The Paladin, full of righteous might and terrible purpose!

Peace

There is a sort dropdown. Let's you sort by weight, type, a couple of others...

As an addon to the first point , more options for companions. I hope with more classes coming in the future we get more companions with those classes , or perhaps take from DoS and allow us to chose the companions' classes.

But that is imediate sort ...
I would also like to see autosort, since every time i loot something and open my bags ... i see mess. -_-
And to sort that mess i need to sort it first by different key than i use, like i want sort things by type, but i allready have type chosen and they are not sorted ... so i have to sort them by vieght/value/last ... and THEN i am able to sort them by type. -_-

First, anything more than a party of 4 makes an already tedious process, well, er, more tedious.

Second, currently, EA Act 1 can easily be wrecked with the current party size....having the party size increased only makes the game what, more easy to be wrecked? If I, as with other solo 'lonewolf' players, can wreck EA Act 1 with one lone solo character/toon, why on earth would one want a party increase beyond that which is already established?

Third, the first two mentions you have listed can and probably will be addressed via mods once BG3 is full release.

This is from my 586.6 hours, so far, of my experience(s) playing EA BG3.

Technically, you can have all your companions on your team at once right now. Not sure if they'll leave it in though.

This is a great example of a well earned exploit! Getting creative with it instead of just save scumming or long resting between every encounter. Very cool!

How about getting some of the Feats fully operational like the +1 to AC for the Ranger knight's dual wielder feat and others that are broken. Also fix some of the weapons like the wielder getting healed 1d6 when the enemy takes damage from the Shattered flail among other things.

What the exploit tells me is the game is quite capable of having more than 4 people in a party. Larian should seriously reconsider expanding the party size since it looks like the system is capable of it. Nice find.

Thats not an autosort not even close. We desperately need a mappable one button auto sort based on the last selection in the sort menu.

Well there is a few reasons ...
Every single of them allready mentioned in every single topic about party size ... there is quite a lot of them also, wich can be concidered another reason.

But most of all, why not?
You confess that you managed to win whole game with single character, that means if you are using whole party you only get the same faster ... since only advantage you get right now is combat (since other characters never partipiate in conversations) ... so players will be able to finish whole game even a bit faster, why is that bad thing?
If people want something and it makes your game stupid and breaks logic or laws ... its compeltely fine to say "no".
But what exactly does this change ruin?
What is reason Larian is fighting so hard against it?

Larian has stated that the engine was capable of supporting six character parties before and that the players would be able to mod the game to do so.

The reason for why they don't allow it is because they want the game to have (and thus balance the game for) a four character party. Which in the end is the most acceptable argument, even if it's not what I would like.

So far the only party size mod I can find on nexus is this which us just a description on how to mod your own save games to allow it. I would prefer it if Larian embraced the wish for it and allowed it as an option in the menu or in a configuration document or something though, rather than having to hack your own saves.
