Ever since I upgraded to vs 1.44 my alchemy skill has not been nearly as useful. I use to be able to make as many permanant potions as I had alchemy plants. Now after making one permanant potion my permanant potion option is constantly grayed out. I have level 5 alchemy so this should not be a problem. What is going on?
The effect of permanent potions were increased in the 1.43 patch, but with holy water no longer being unlimited. Battlefield merchants have a small chance of having one for sale (can not be pickpocketed in 1.44).
