One of the things that I like about a game is the housing. I had this idea as soon as I noticed the changes gradually being made at the camp. So I would like to have the opportunity to create a house, furniture and set up the camp as I see fit, and why not, create a castle on a higher level.
I think this is all the more possible since the camp is a cell delimited off the map.

You had me at the idea, lost me at house and castle haha. But I would like to see more active and dynamic camp growing too, rather than random stuff just popping up over time on its own.

I'm hoping for an actual base of some sort - build a stronghold and not in that tiny camp setting.

Sure as long as the base camp / house / castle isn't the only place for resting.
It's already weird in EA when you teleport in and out of the Underdark to rest in your forest camp that's not even actually on the map. It bothers me that you don't even know where you camp is exactly. It feels like a pocket dimension rather than a real location.
Later it's only getting more weird if you have a house and the travel distances for rest between locations and the "camp" are even more unrealistic.
And all of it would be solved by letting us do local long rests in whatever location we are in. That would also be much more in the spirit of adventuring.

Same, except I don't really mind the concept of a pocket dimension. I think it would be nice if the scenario of the camp changed depending on the map you're on. If it's a beach, show the beach. If it's a forest, show the forest etc (except that could break a little considering most of us take long rests in the middle of dungeons, lol)

I don’t want a fortress or castle. I prefer not to deal with land management. And besides, how am I supposed to call myself a murder hobo if I actually have a place to live?

Oh please there are so many things that don't work in the game at the moment.
Give us a D/N cycle if you don't know what to do with your money but please forget this idea of housing.

I'm pretty sure the "camp" will change later. It would be silly to spend the night in the woods when we are in the city, for example... I think the location will change with the act. Also D/N cycle not that important, lol.
I don't speak english well, but I try my best. Ty

I'd love an actual base of some sort, but right now, I just want a nice tent I can semi decorate. Everybody else gets a tent, why can't I?

What if we just get a sweet RV that we can trick out and drive around from chapter to chapter?

In fact I believe I remember them saying so outright. I would like it if it also changed during the chapter when it makes sense, so that you get another camp while you're in the Underdark for example. Also D/N cycle not that important, lol. 100% disagree with this though. A day cycle is one of the most necessary additions to the game.

It must be big enough to accomodate all 6 of us, plus this dog, this owlbear cub, this ... well, he's probably a lich but doesn't say too much... and this druid.

Ngl the image of a huge suite with 6 beds and everything made me laugh. I wouldn't complain if they did it like that lmao It would be a nice touch if the scenary changed with the act.
