I have a problem.

I can't change my weapons by clicking on the icon in the bar menu (ex : browse weapons) or assigning them a hotkey such as F1...F10.
That's to say that i can assign the hotkey but after when i use it...it doens't fit.

I have installed the last patch (1.34).

In this way i cant switch between axe and bow during battles and i have great problems....


can u help me?

Strange... can you open your inventory and switch weapons by clicking on the bow/axe there?

are you sure that you have enough strength/agility for one of those weapons.

Example - i have a sword in my inventory that shows up on the bar. BUT it requires a strength of 60 and so i cannot use it YET! so clicking on it does nothing!

In fact no.
I can change weapon only moving them with the mouse....i must take the axe from inventory and put it on the weapon slot in equip plate.

I'm sure i can use the weapon, there's no limitation. However if i wield it "manually" i can use it.

It's very strange.

That is not normal.

Try deleting all of the files in the '..\Divine Divinity\Run\Dynamic' folder.
This folder is used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied from that folder when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in that folder, deleting the files should fix the problem.

If that doesn't help, backup your save game folders, and do a clean re-install + patch. See;

I have follow your suggestions and after two reinstall, now i can switch weapon normally.
