Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Game economy will be different in full release?

I have this suspect because after the third patch suddendly appeared silver and platinum coins, with this hotfix now there are electrum and coper coins (well coin piles).

Neato. Are they all still worth one gold coin though?

Where's this patch though? There's none on steam for me.

To verify if your game is upated just check that the version shown is 4.1.90.6165.

My steam client on my pc too doesn't tell me if the game has been pgraded with hotfixes or patches but the number of version is isible.


About the coins I don't know if they will actualy deliver a more complex system with the equivalent of our cents, units and so on. I just went to a vendor and for now the prices are only in pieces of gold.

Enumerating the various monies would be so old school and so weird and such a bad idea and I'd LOVE IT.

There were platimum, copper, etc coins when Early Access release occurred - they have not been added, it's just that many never ever noticed them (in the Zhent Hideout, and a couple other places I can't remember).....
Only time will tell if they will have any real value other than the 'my pretties' weight they are come full release.
