Anyone know what the differnt colors mean on magic items?
As far as i can guess..
Yellow = common magic
Orange = rare
Blue = uniqie/super rare
White = set items

Not sure about the last item, im not that far into the game but in act 2 i found a pair of gloves that said its part of the marksmen set in the well in imp town, but aside form saying its a set, it has no magic bonus shown.

The colour of the name indicates the relative quality, though there is some overlap.
From low to high; white, grey, blue, green, yellow, gold

But how come some items can be trasfered to summoning dolls? example 2 green weapons i found, a deathknight claw (from act 1) and a magic sword(found early in act 2) the deathnight claw will trasfer to my skelton no problem but the magic sword wont, also the posion dagger (reward from lost spider quest) wont trasfer to my summoned skell. Are these items needed for later quests so they cant be trasfered or what?
And your list...
"From low to high; white, grey, blue, green, yellow, gold " fails to include orange items. witch i assume r the high end of magic rewards such as my "Expensive great shadow axe of amazment" 160-243 shadow damage.

Hm, in which Act are you? If you're in Act 2 - they won't (items from this act) But it should work, as soon as you move to Act 3.

yep still on act 2 , so that explains why those items cant be trasfers (because i got them in that act, and im still ont hat act) but not why? I can trasfer much more powerful magic weapon ive looted in this act too the doll but not these? Do i need the sword or dagger sometime soon? And did i miss a quest relating too the deathknight claw on act 1?
From what im guessing .. green magic items r static and always there in everygame, where as orange and yellow ect r randomly made.

Unique/set items are also not for sale in the act you get them from => so, maybe this is the same reason fro not giving them to the summ. dolls? Just guessing.

Nope, dagger, sword etc => you don't need them for a quest. And about the Death Claw in Act 1 => was a reward from Tully for stealing the Torturer book, so it's yours.
