Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Act III - temple relic quest

I found the relic prior to accepting the quest from the monk. Now he won't accept the fact that i have the relic in my inventory. HAs this bu gbeen seen before and how do you solve it? Reload is not possible since i play on quicksaves only.

Did you try to put the relic on the ground - speak to Raze, get the quest and then pick it up? (Picking is clicking, not drag&drop, if possible)

Another thing => does your item have the name "relic"?
Which version did you play it in?

And the last => you're in the ranking list, right?

i'll try the drop thing tonight, but the item has a relic name and looks like a scepters with m&m's embedded. And i'm on the rankings. Hope it works...I'm using the latest patch.

If you have gotten the relic before that that NPC asked about it then you need to drop it. There is a trigger hidden in grabbing the item that will open the next set of dialogues from this NPC

Renu, it's ok, I just wanted to know if your relic still knows its name and has not morphed. Hope the drop thing will work in your case => please, report. Might help other gamers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

hmm, is this about opening the entrance where you first meet the black bishop?
If so:<span class='standouttext'>Spoiler : </span><span class='spoiler'>did you speak to the Raanaar prisoner after the bishop told you about the entrance? iirc the prisoner tells you that you need it to open the entrance. After doing that, I could open it even though I already had the relic as well.</span>
