Yep, some points in con sound necessary if you're dying that quickly... though a tactic to try would be to have the character best at sneaking sneak around a bit and use your strongest arrows on the deathknights one at a time, drawing him in to your own deathknight and hacking away at him together. That way, you can single them out and kill them more easily.
