Please fix camera height and floors going invisible when fighting/navigating vertical environments.


Current behavior: when fighting in vertical environments, camera consistently focuses on lower floors and turns upper floors transparent.

Expected behavior: tracking the camera up a ramp should raise elevation rather than clipping through (see DOS2:EE camera behavior).


Quickest demonstration is the fight against thralls in the bow of the starting Flayer ship; upper decks disappear when any lower-deck character is selected. I'd attach a screenshot, but the janky forum format apparently doesn't have that option to provide concise feedback.

Yes, I can agree, you want to change the vertical height all the time, why can't you program it horizontally so that you can turn and turn it yourself

During that fight if you kill the npcs on the bottom the top ones go hostile. While your on the bottom the ai on top will also run over and punch one of the glass alien bombs as if it was going to effect you or ai just being dumb.
