As implemented in BG3 the Bear form is a lot weaker than the table top variety ie has less HP, 1 few attacks (should be 2), does a lot less damage and has no plus to hit (or at least it's not shown on the character sheet). Yes I know it's OK as it stands at the lower levels be it makes me worried about its viability post level 5.

In table top the moon druid is very powerful at lower levels (1 – 4) compared to other melee characters but the rest really start to close the gap at level 5 and all have passed it by level 9/10.

Question, why doesn't the bear form have shove?

If any wild shape should have shove it's the bear who could use both his shoulder or legs to shove and it is an important bonus action one I use with my melee characters all the time.

But remember at lvl 10 moon druids gain the ability to wildshape into elementals.
