Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems need help moving saved games

I would like to move a saved game from Act 4 from my dektop PC to my laptop.
I have been playing on my desktop all along and I will be on the road for a while and would like to finish the game. Laptop is actually a better, faster machine.I am 4.44 on the desktop.
I installed and updated to 4.44 on the laptop,copied,zipped,and E-mailed a savegame to myself. Unzipped it and copied it to the savegame folder on the laptop.It is in the folder,however when I start the game I don't see it.What am I missing? Or is this only possible with the same level, Act1 vs Act4? Is this possible at all.

That procedure should have worked fine. When you zipped the folder and then unzipped it to the savegames folder on the other computer, did an extra folder get added, so the files are actually in '..\savegames\save name\save name\'? Did all of the files get transferred over?

Thanks Raze.I copied the zipped file to the savegame file not the extracted one.
