My characters can now correctly see within the effect of the Darkness spell, but their spells still function as if they cannot. For instance, my Warlocks, who have Devil's Sight, are both unable to aim an Eldritch Blast through the cloud of magical darkness. When trying to mouse over an enemy in the cloud, the tooltip says "Path is interrupted." I should be able to fire into the cloud.

Additionally, RAW, Eldritch Blast does not require the caster to see the target in order for a character to attack with it, so even if I don't have Devil's Sight, I should be able to fire into complete darkness and have a chance of hitting with disadvantage.

If I've understood the patch notes correctly they just changed devils sight to make it the same as, or roughly equivalent to, superior darkvision.

Bumped Devil's Sight to 24m to match Superior Darkvision.
Devil Sight now grants immunity to the Blinded condition from darkness,

I don't think they've set up a way to distinguish between darkness and magical darkness yet, so while devils sight makes you immune to the blinded status effect (one step closer) it doesn't work the way it should by RAW.

I don't want to split hairs about what is a bug and what is simply yet to be implemented features but...
