After dealing with the ambush my bear alone sneaked round the back and was challenged by the group of goblins there with a dialogue.
There's probably not a good call on how to handle that but it felt a bit weird giving an answer to avoid combat, but then getting the *you are unable to speak* pop up.
I suspect the bear should not be able to talk them down, but I'm not sure whether they should attack her.
