Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Character Appearance

I recently started playing DOS2 on xbox and primarily chose Lohse and Battle Mage due to the appearance on the character creation/selection screen with the fact that showing her helm basically made her hair go all super saiyan 3, and the tattoos she had on screen and the outfit that it showed with battle mage on her character. Is there a way to duplicate this look in game or am i stuck with generally generic armor looks throughout the entire game and this screen not reflecting in any way shape or form the character and class i chose? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Armor will look different on different characters (based on race, I believe). In other words, chain mail will appear differently on a human as compared to an elf. But I don't think armor changes appearance based on class -- especially as this is basically a classless game.

Ya not necessarily based on class what i really want to know is if there are any armors in the game that will give Lohse the look of her as a battle mage on the character/class select screen or if this appearance has no possibility in the actual game. And if you cant duplicate it in the game why make it the appearance on the character select screen. Its a little misleading imo. As the appearance was the main reason i chose it thinking i could make her look like that in game.

Some helmets change your hairstyle, that one specifically is an intelligence based that can be obtained during act 1, but as you progress it will eventually be weaker compared to new equipment, so it's your option to keepit based on appearance or not.
