If it's not here, tell me where to write !!

I ask the developers to see this post.
1) I bought the game right away on pre-order. The only thing that bothers me so far is one detail, only one. All other decisions are clear and worked out.
This is the maximum level 10. Why so few? Why not 20 or higher? SW KOTOR 1,2 series, the followers of classic RPGs did more (30-50 levels) .. PAthfinder, Pilars of Eternity. Also Divity 1-2 !!
Don't you think level 10 makes the game very short? In terms of interest in pumping. Without character development, the player loses interest by 40% .. And not so emotionally
immerses in the world.
I don't believe your game is so short. 200 hours will be finished by 10th level? I think this is a good solution for leveling up and testing the balance in the first couples (using lvl 10). But not as an idea for the final version.
Special thanks for opening a studio in my hometown of St. Petersburg, which is in Russia. Yes, I'm from there. It's cold here ^ ___ ^

horsey If this does not fix this, then let's study skills through objects, weapons or NPC rpg007

2) I would also like to know if the number of gods will correspond to the fifth edition of the rules? And how strongly the choice of a particular deity will affect the gameplay? And will there be any influence or buffs on the characters of those who follow the precepts of the deity? (deeds by covenants)
For a priest or paladin, this will be a new immersion experience. Gods are a very important part of D` n` D, so what will you do with them? The system of religion can be made quite deep and influencing the gameplay more than just the name of the gods in the profile. rpg001 rpg001 rpg001
Receive, for example, a skill or a buff for certain quests from a deity or constantly receive some kind of tasks from a deity or decisions in dialogues. A reward for support .. skill, subject, or buff.

I published more on the website and in the incentive .. The question is important for me and I would like to know exactly what the developer saw.

P.S. OST Divinity: Original Sin 2 is divine! Composer prize!
P.P.S English is not my native language, so please be kind to my mistakes

The original Baldurs Gate complete with expansion got you to level 7 I think? DnD tends to be a slower levelling experience than most video games, and that gives you more time to actually roleplay. To develop a character. That said, I think Larian have now committed to a higher cap, but not stated how high. I wouldn't expect much more than 12.

Apart from the commercial reason to leave room for an expansion/sequel to 20 (BG2 allowed you to import your character from the end of BG1 which was an amazing feature), balancing the extra feats, spells, multiclass options is a lot of work, and gets more complex with every level as interactions become more intricate. At the end of the day they want to get the game released this side of 2023.

Combat in DnD is more about how you strategize around changing enemy groups and environments, traps, etc. It's very non-linear in design.

RPGs that have a higher level cap usually are more linear in design, and have a more limited scope on what the character can do at each level.

Regarding the level cap, this could also be for narrative purposes. Since Level 20 is the highest level possible in D&D 5E (there are no epic levels like in 3.5), Level 20 characters are expected to fight against god-like entities (like in Throne of Bhaal) or even against actual gods. Based on what we've seen in Early Access, I agree with Elessaria666 and wouldn't expect much higher than Level 12 (if at all).
