In compleating a lot of quests and still a few to go. I have
a heros reputation 31. I am only a level 30. GREAT JUMPING
JESOPHAT! My quest log says your invited to meet Janus. This
is when i completed the plague quest and sent Dr. Elrath to
his doom. Seth is not protecting aleroth any more and I got
royally chewed out when i quickly showed up at the barricks.
I still do not want to do the mitox.s quests. Will I be dragged
kicking and screaming to stormfist or do i still have time?
Still trying to get a decent weapon. How come the thieves
still like me? I released their prisoner. Can i kill any of
them without loosing rep? With this rep goemo should have
given me the scroll. he says he dosent have it.

Well back to the blacksmith in ars. I even decided because
of a very nice person's tip i shall try the dwarven halls
smithy also.

You dont have to do the castle until every other quest has been done, and you shouldnt. The castle triggers the continuation of the main plot. I would explore every area (Framlands, Vredidtis, Dark Forest, Warriors Guild, Etc) and do all the quests before going to the castle. There are 3 quests that can get you an invitation to the castle, but no time limits on when you need to go. You are at a high enough level you can go whenever you want. I did most of the quests in Rivertown and Verdistis and cleared the Rivertown sewers before going (clearing the sewers made things a little easier later).

When you completed the plague quest the healers moved from Aleroth on their own and Seth left. You do not have to do the army quests; only 1 of the 3 quests that give you an invitation is required.

Thieves are friendly, so will cause a reputation drop if attacked directly (Poison Cloud cast near them should kill them safely). They do not know you broke the prisoner out.

I think Goemoe is more concerned with whether or not you helped the 2 wounded soldiers in Aleroth than with your general reputation.

oh yes i did that almost the first day. and got restoration
from him. I cleaned out the sewer so i hope i dont need his
scroll.

Was Goemoe in the council hall before you asked him about the scroll? In Aleroth or at the inn he should have given it to you. There is no need to return to the Verdistis sewers, so you don't need the scroll. I'm pretty sure it is not needed to complete the teleporter scroll quest.

not even close to doing stormfist so i assume when you
said council you ment at council of seven. so no not there.
i asked when i finished the cursed abby quest.
then at the blue boar inn. he is still at the blue boar and i
just finished the warriors guild quests. so i will ask him
again then. which brings me to post another question
if i dont find it in search.

That is strange. If you save both soldiers in Aleroth, you should be able to ask Goemoe about the scroll and get it as soon as Zandalor tells you they exist.

In truth i believe its after you talk to Zandalor the first time after you died quite pathetically i might add. After that when ya ask goemoe bout the scroll, he says, " your a friend of zandalor, i trust him and in turn i trust you. (something like that). He should give it to you at that moment.

Also, After Commander Ralphs soldiers kill cybu, (at this point i've been kicked out of the castle) Ralph says Janus would like to congradulate you himself for finding the murderer of the duke. How come i dont get invited again. By teh way my reps 36 after doing that quest.

Commander Ralph only gives you 1 physical invitation to the castle, though he can tell you that you are invited for 2 quests.

That was a bit of a stuff up on Larian's part. They should change the text to reward you for finding the killer, but not invite you back in.

im just wondering the killer dropes a manscript is there something to it becuse i cannot pick it up?.

You can pick up almost anything by dragging it into your inventory (as opposed to just clicking it).

if you killed Cybu on your own, without Ralph's aid - you need this manuscript as proof, on talking to him afterwards. If you had informed him and met him at Cybu, you don't need it.
