I think the game is interesting (and I bought it in the first week), however, in trying to restart and play a druid, I've found that I barely have enough time to save before the next crash.
Is this everyone's experience? Apparently even opening an equipement view is likely to send me to crash land.
I'm trying to not be overly critical, but this is somewhat ridiculous even for early access.

I had that on a older computer, the multi inventory screen crashed the game if I remember correctly along with the ship crashing vid.

Edit* Actually now that I'm thinking about it, the vid took about 10 minutes to load or just crashed.

Have noticed a few more stability problems and crashes since patch 4, but nothing as debilitating as what you are experiencing. Have you tried switching from Vulkan to DirectX 11, or experimenting with video settings? All those graphical options are nice but they really don't add too much to the game.

I initially tried both vulcan and directx when crashing during character creation, and didn't find much difference. I haven't switched it up since..but I shall try some things tomorrow perhaps.

Stability has actually improved for me, even though I'm playing on Linux. Garbled animation of the dream sequences in camp is the only wierdness I've had.

New patches might require more PC resources than previously, so that might be an issue if you are close to the minimum specs. If that is not likely, the new patch may have simply caught an edge case on your PC due to a bug, immature driver code or your particular operating system configuration.

After this patch, I had a crash for the first time, but only on vulcan. Well, and animation lags, but I never saw first dream without lags.

I don't speak english well, but I try my best. Ty

For me, I just had a crash last night during the undead battle in the temple. First one I've seen like it's kind, but it was a Vulkan crash. The only thing I've really experienced is the first talking sequence with Lea'zel. Graphics went glitchy as if there was a wall between us, but there wasn't. Of course during cinematics, we have the characters holding their weapons with open hands,(sticky hilts) and the occasional telepathic conversation with characters (mouths don't move, but they are speaking). Again, I'm assuming all the graphical issues will be fixed by launch.

It does seem to work better on DirectX than Vulcan. I have an additional 8 GB of ram I can slot in and see if that helps (up to 24 GB then).

Yep, adding the additional memory seems to have helped too. Hope this thread helps someone else.
