I'm sure this has been said before but I really hate it when you can't change your companions skills and abilities. This game made me rage quit when I made fighter as my main character and I was planning to use Astarion as thief who steals everything. Then when I got Astarion to my party I saw that he doesn't even have sleight of hand skill! At this point I rage quit the game and haven't touched it since. So the only companion rogue can't steal well and only companion cleric sucks at healing, that's great. Why don't you just change Gale's intelligence to 10 and Wyll's charisma to 10, that would properly continue the awesomeness of your companions. The next time I play this game is when the full version arrives and if I can't then change those skills and abilities, I'm going to just uninstall the game and try to forget that this game exists.

That's strange, Astarion has the Sleight of Hand skill normally- he is pretty good in all thieving skills (well, perception could be a bit better, but in that, Shadowheart is great). You just should give him another light armor, since his gives him disadvantage in stealth checks.

You're right, he does have sleight of hand! I don't know what I was looking, stupid me. Now my only problem is with Shadowheart because I don't like trickster. I never use any trickster stuff so it kind of sucks because you are forced to take trickster.

Yeah, I really wish, I could give SH another domain. But with her goddess neither light nor life is really fitting. Maybe they change that, when we get more cleric domains later on.

I don't see this changing as her domain is directly tied into her story arc. Come release you'd probably be better off creating your own cleric as 1 of your custom party if you really don't like her and want a cleric.

Without spoiling anything I hope, it has been speculated that her domain may change during the course of the full game. Play through the EA with her and talk with her after her cut scenes and you may come to the same conclusion.

Maybe they could add an NPC to give a mechanic to retrain your levels? Costs gold and you can repick what you have selected each level, and retrain level one stuff perhaps, just not moving around Level 1 Stats?
