Hello from Norway

Hi, just started playing. Decided to go for the warrior character. Im at lvl 6 now, and I wonder what skills I should go for.
I have:
2 levels of sword expertise
1 level of augment damage
1 level of stun
1 level of extra lightning damage on my melee weapon
1 level of extra fire damage on my melee weapon
1 level of freeze
1 level of hell spikes

Thought about going for more hell spikes (they seem to work well) + more expertise in sword.
I also am in dire need to be able to do damage from a distance, so ranged damage spells and bow expertise + path of the ranger skills could be en option. I want to be able to do lots of damage hand-to-hand. but also ranged damage if the oppsition needs to softened before going in for the kill.

So based on this; suggestions, please

Well I usually play as a Mage so I play in a different style than yours but I would suggest you some skills I found very usefull. Repair is the one that helped me a lot. Level two is just fine for the begining and also healling is great. It restores all of your missing health in a battle with a little cost of mana. And one tip. Do not use lockpick yet. It doesn´t work yet.

I think he may actually be talking about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> here. Is hellspikes even available in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />?

and to answer your question.

1)hell spikes!!!!!!!!! (i underestimated them)
2)spells in extra damage poison weapon
3) no skils wasted on freeze, stun, lightning on weapon because later in the game you'll find weapons with freeze and stun and they are more potend then the normal weapons with the extra freeze skil.
4) for range the fireball is good when your a low level player and freeze is always good because you then don't need the rage because you heave time.

If you want to use a bow you simply must try splitting arrows and poison weapon and pay alittle visit to the orc camp <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Just keep to a steady diet of Orcs in varying shapes and sizes and you'll grow up to be a big adventurer in no time. Ofcourse, if you want to take the easy way, you could get scorpion trap and max it. That tends to kill things while you stand around twiddling your thumbs.
