Hello from Norway.

Hi, just started playing. Decided to go for the warrior character. Im at lvl 6 now, and I wonder what skills I should go for.

I have:
2 levels of sword expertise
1 level of augment damage
1 level of stun
1 level of extra lightning damage on my melee weapon
1 level of extra fire damage on my melee weapon
1 level of freeze
1 level of hell spikes

Thought about going for more hell spikes (they seem to work well) + more expertise in sword.
I also am in dire need to be able to do damage from a distance, so ranged damage spells and bow expertise + path of the ranger skills could be en option. I want to be able to do lots of damage hand-to-hand. but also ranged damage if the oppsition needs to softened before going in for the kill.

So based on this; suggestions, please hehe

1 point in repair.
Hell spikes are indeed powerful for a warrior/mage.
Rangers are very powerful in this game--I beat the whole game with bow expertise, split arrows, and poisoned weapon--a survivor skill. You have several melee skills that will be useless when using a bow--so if you go melee/ranged use poisoned weapon rather than anymore in those--stun, etc. Poisoned weapon will also disrupt the enemy, something sort of like stun as well as add dmg.

The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?

One thing i would say.

Try out various weapons and see which suit your style of play.

Once you have done that, then you can go for the skills of the specialist.

Enhchant weapons with charms is a very good skill too.(Under paths of warrior gods).

Ranged weapons are good, you can kill from afar, hit and run i say.
Still there are certain situations where melee weapons are best, sometimes you get into a small space with loads of enemies and bows arent the best options.

Early on I like to max out wisdom to get the extra exp. as soon as possible. I would also suggest saving skill points till higher levels because some GREAT skills come up and you'll want them. So unless youre really having a tough time killing things, hoarding your skill points for the better skills is my advice. If you click the button to the right on the skill screen it will show you all available skill paths, then you can look at them all and decide if you want to save points for them.

Don't max out wisdom. Calculations have been made about the wisdom skill, and it simply isn't worth getting it. The wisdom skill might get you an extra level or two at the end of the game. Raze knows the details.

But saving skillpoints can come in handy, since most skills are only available at certain levels. Especially in the beginning, you shouldn't waste skillpoints on skills you don't really need. Saving up skillpoints is indeed handy.
