Targeting the enemy's chest gives no Advantage but targeting his legs does?
Say, I'm standing on a high ground, but not by a lot. And when I mouse over my target with my caster's ranged attack, it gives me Advantage based on where I mouse over. If I mouse over his chest, it shows no Advantage on the tooltip. If I mouse over his legs, it shows I get Advantage on the the tooltip. But some testing on my own shows that even if I left click while targeting the legs, I still don't get the Advantage in the combat log.
Is this the same for everyone?
Does this mean that I get the height Advantage in the actual combat only if it says I have Advantage on the tooltip while targeting the centre of the enemy?

Somehow, last patch, they put in - or reasserted by mistake - the code base they were using for attack line and distance from D:OS2. In that game, exactly where you targeted on a figure mattered, because several skills took modifiers off distance from character to point of contact.
So, for some reason now, it measures your actual cursor position for determining high ground on the tooltips - specifically on the tooltips! The *actual* rolls for whether you have advantage or not are fixed on actual character position; the tooltip will just be wrong in one position. Good luck knowing which one before you shoot; there's no way to tell.

Yeah, the tooltip is bugged, but the good news is where you can get advantage from is mostly consistent. So once you have a visual of how much distance you need, you can get it consistently.
There are two situations: 1) The tooltip shows you won't get advantage, but the game is giving you advantage for high ground. 2) The tooltip show you will get disadvantage (from low ground), but you are in the zone to not get disadvantage.
