IMHO it would be more benificial to list bugs or problems that you are having to help the Larians know what is wrong.

Larian, wake up - time for patch v1.45

ROFL, this has to be a joke right? I don't think many of the Larianites even know what sleep is any more.

I am in Act III on my second game now. I waited to start the second game until patch v1.44 was released. In this game I have only encountered 2 real bugs:

1) while moving crystals in my backpack one of them dropped into my full gem bag by accident and when I opened the gem bag the game hung up and crashed.

2) In the Battlefield, while totally encumbered I picked up an item from my pack to move it and got an endless stream of "too heavy..." messages and encumbered bells.

Other than those 2 problems the game is now very stable, with an occassional minor glitch in object and monster placement and such. I, personally could not have asked for more from the Larian team, and hope they sleep long and peacefully now.

In order Larians to wake up, they have to fall asleep first. And that is something that they forgot to do it a long time ago... Let´s give them a break hm?

Also I must add that I wish that the game is made harder again in the next patch. I've killed all end monsters (kiya, black bishop, necromancer) with 3 spell casts they never stood a chance they dindn't even got the chance to move. It's to bad I didn't experience the difficult mosters that el shrimpo talked about. with levl 6 hammer and level 10 lightning strom the game is waaaaaaay to easy and not even a challenge anymore. I haven't gone to the BF since my char is uber strong and has no need for it that and the 100 medium potions and 50 huge potions of health in my backpack. I've been playing on tactical but this is way to easy IMHO.

lucky i am in act 4 now that is more relient on solving quests then killing monsters.

@Morbo, Beef => as the game was made easier to give those a chance who were very frustrated: let's not ask for something that might mess up again, hm?

Have you both tried to play the unpatched version? In English it should 1.1? AFAIK, plot stopper Tax is not solved (so don't refuse) and IIRC plotstopper Kiya was solved. You should be able to play until end. Though I'm not sure, if invincible Sammy was solved at that time.

You will see this => BF traders have the same skills from Act 1-4. No overkill in loot, gargoyles and mage skellies were more difficult. Well, no pyramids in Act 3 either - but trudging is healthy. Anyway, the evil flying eyes were pretty dangerous (or was this 1.0? ). And earthquake, too

Try it
Kiya

and you will see this, Morbo:
lvl 5 in hammer is cap! Only from hermit! (sorry, typo)
IIRC lightning storm is lvl 10 in Act 3 first. In Act 2 you only had lvl 5.

skills range from level cap 5, 6 and some until 10. You get some skills very late in the game => so, no overpowering with alchemy extract possible.

Please, try it, if you miss the old feeling and like a challenge. Yeah, it's easy to kill if you wade in super armour, lots of potions, gold, charms etc => try it with the minimalistic - really hard-to-survive-mode, lacking the civilised comfort of the patches. Try it without a cheated char - no hex-edit gold - no magic weapons in the BF trade window. Then you don't need your enemies that hard anymore. No wonder, if you're overpowered => monsters are easy.

It might be more useful to wish for added difficulty settings, instead. That way, we can all avoid the interminable "I want it easier!" and "I want it more difficult!" arguments that have become a regular feature of these forums. No offense meant.

I would rather wait longer for a Patch which is then fully tested than otherwise.

I just want Convert Arrows to work ALL the time. Everytime i get a lot of normal arrows, the option is grayed out.

Yenen, which convert skill did you choose? There was a prob with power arrows, but none else. And this one worked, if I chose an additionally 2nd convert skill.

Is the char with the skill either leading or in single mode? And does he/she have these arrows?

levl 6 hammer and level 10 lightning-- lol people like you ruin the game with all your ideas. Try and go thru the game with only 1 skill point in lightning storm and hammer or 2h Accuracy.I myself have found lots of useful skills with only 1 point ea.No wonder they chopped up the DD engine & made it the mess it is now.Instead of uber character with limited skills we now have a very linear character with no skills. All you forum trolls go play another rpg and leave these ppl alone and let them work. roflmao

No offense, but can someone translate this gibberish for me?

Edit: Nevermind, after reading Morbo's post below I was able to decipher it myself. Kinda anyway.

Hey it's was the first time I played the game with the latest patch installed. If you payed sweet coin to learn it to level 10 or level 6 why shouldn't you?? The problem is that you shouldn't be able to learn it. Thats why I am going to reinstall it and play it patchless.
