I tried searching the forums but nothing came up.

What is peoples thoughts of moving through an area in wildshape and still triggering combat?

Example: In the form of a domestic cat, I walked into the ruined town where the goblins are on the roof.
This triggered combat. Should it really though if for all intents and purposes, you appear to the goblins
as a harmless cat. I personally like the idea of sneaking past things in the form of a animal such as a cat.

Doesn't the cat description say it can move through an area undetected? Without that ability, the cat is an absolutely useless form.

Yes, you are appearing as a harmelss cat ...
But you are appearing as a harmless cat to sadistic goblin a**holes that are shooting birds down, and throwing sharp rocs at caged bear, just for fun. wink

Those were just some examples. Are there other areas with hostiles in that you could simply walk through in wildshape form?

I believe the better question would be:
Are there any area with hostiles wich would not attack a cat?

And the answer, as far as i can remember would be:
Yes, one.
Its that group of looters in Overgrown Ruins.

Everyone else who is hostile in EA could potentialy have reason to attack the cat, either for fun (mostly sentient creatures, like Goblins, Githyanki, Drow or Duegar, ...), or for food (Gnolls, Spiders, Ettercaps, Minotaurs, ...).

The cat is ridiculously useless if it triggers combats according to me.
Can understand for a bear or a wolf but the cat should probably not trigger encounter.

Anyway there are bugs so it's work in progress.

The spiders are attacking you when you're a spider and that's not what they told/show us in the last Panel From Hell.

I guess one more time we'll have to wait and see just to know what's intended and what is a bug...
