Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General The doctor's house

Here's something, I tried solving the quest with the poison. I found the Orc in the cave, found the key to the blue boar inn, and now I can't get into Dr Elrath's (or whatever his name is) house. Did I miss something? I understand there's a lamp thing you have to solve in the house itself <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />, but I just can't get into his house. I have the lock picks and even found the key in the back. Any takers on this?

Did you see the cutscene with the doctor in the poor area?? Then you can enter his house and talk to him. He'll leave and lock the place again. There is a key behind the house under some rocks (use alt). If you cant find it use lock pick lvl 2.

Right, Yeah I did that and I still can't get in the house, Also I cant' get in the house where the hostages are by the Archers Guild. I noticed I have to enter both house from the same angle. Maybe I'm not lining up my character with the doors right. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Or is there a glinch in the game? anyone else have this problem?

use alt, the door will lit up and you can click on it.
in order to lockpick thoughj you must stand directly against it..
