Nothing is more immersion breaking than seeing armor that is so eloquent and amazing looking but has parts clipping through the neck, arms etc.

Please take your time and really make this game Blizzard tier in terms of appearance. I'll wait an extra year if i have to. I beg you please take the time to not have clipping in armor/weapons!!!!!!!!

PS: Please add more armor variants, legendary armors etc. DOS2 didnt have enough armor sets frown

Oh yes, this!

The Padded Armour leaves a huge hole in the female model! I can see straight through my char in the Nautiloid cutscenes, it's horrible!

Honestly yeah, its glaring. Also its especially worse with helmets, Astarion's hair loves to clip through the one I gave him. Eventually I'd like armors to be fixed, that said I personally see it lower on the list of problems and would like to see animation and texture/model fixes happen in the late stage of development, but that is just me.

Elven/Gith ears are the worst when it comes to clipping. They clip with *every* helmet and a lot of the hair styles. It's really distracting.

More than clipping it bothers me that metal parts stretch with animations. It looks so completely off..like fake armor.

This is one of my pet hates with video games in general. Speaking as an admittedly rather novice modeller it seems to me like a tricky problem to sort out and I suspect it might make the potential for clipping and deformation problems 10× worse, so stretchy metal might be the least worst approach. :| I guess there's a reason chainmail is so popular! Though I've still seen plenty of examples of even that getting pretty conspicuously stretched.

Weighted stuff like cloaks and so on seem to be another frequent problem I've seen in lots of places and I still seem to have traumatic memories of trying to rig e.g. skirts in Fallout 4. D: I suspect it'll be a perennial problem until game engines can do a sort of proper mesh collision detection system without crippling performance... Hmm, that sounded much more defeatist than I'd intended; I should probably stop prattling.

J'aime le fromage.
