Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Pod Key doesn't open any pods on the Nautaloid

In the Nautaloid just beside where Shadowheart is locked up is a table with the Elaborate Reliquary.
If you highlight items a scroll and a necklace show up but if you hover over the table there is another scroll and a pod key.

I've played the tutorial over 20 times and this is the first time I've hovered and found it.
I'm not sure if it's new or I've just missed it.

Unfortunately I can't get the pod key to open any pods and having it in my inventory does no open any new dialogues.

Were I a new player I would think it was a bug that I couldn't get Shadowheart out with it.

not an option in EA right now. Or whatever option the key is intended for....

I had that too and I also found older threads describing that the so called |pod key| wasn't lying openly on the table, but was found in the elaborate chest, when opened from the inventory. In my case, I also found it on the table and additionally, when talking to Shadowheart in her pod, there was a new dialogue option, which wasn't translated yet (I'm playing in German). This led me to believe, that the pod key appearing now was intentional, however when I later created another character on another profile it didn't appear in the game. Therefore I suspect that this is a bug - the item is probably already in the game files to be used in some kind of story update to the tutorial and might just randomly appear by accident.
