Since I have tried all the other classes I figured, lets try something different for this play through. So I created a Drow "warrior" Cleric of Shar. Instead of putting my points in the usual for cleric I have focused on filling up dex and str. Right now, my stats are
15 str 12 dex 12 constitution 8 intelligence 15 wisdom 8 Charisma
I am duel wielding Shattered Flail & Dragons Grasp. My armor is just the green scale mail armor with +1 dex.
I have to say, it is proving to work pretty darn well. Although I have no real special melee attacks, my character is doing some pretty decent damage, and have no real difficulty clearing battles, even battles like the Goblin castle (though the Phase Spider Matriarch as usual is a challenging fight, but once you have a set strategy from previous playthroughs it is done on the first try now). My most used abilities are mirror image and Halt and hold person.
It is also nice to have a back up healer, and it opens some nice conversation variations with Shadowheart. With 8 intelligence, he isn't the smartest tool in the shed, I have to use Shadowheart for any Charisma related actions like getting the best price on gold from vendors and sweet talking people (or Gale).
Overall, an interesting experiment, I really didn't think the character would be such an effective fighter as a dumb, muscle bound cleric (no barrelmancy btw).
Has anyone else tried this?

Don't forget to use dipping and poison with any dualwielder. It's really overkill What's un-usual in your abilities.

Has anyone else tried this? I wish you could do this with a Druid and Dual wield shillelaghs! So if wielding a club in each hand and you cast shillelagh, what happens to the offhand club?> I actually don't know if this would or would not work.

I haven't played a druid yet, that would be an interesting experiment admittedly.

But you can also use flame blade on your second hand and add poison to both weapons. It can OS minotaurs and/or bulette with the good poison (and a bit luck on damage and/or attack rolls)
