The Statue Traps make no sense. As I was writing the Afflicted story, I got to this part and realized, "How did the goblins get into the tunnels without being utterly obliterated by the statue traps near the way they got in? At the very least, all statues along the path leading towards how the goblins got in should be deactivated or destroyed. After all, the goblins must have done something to them. The only other solution is that there must have been some goblins who died, sacrificed to distract the statues while the rest got through."
What also doesn't make sense about the traps is that stealth works against them. Traps are to protect against invaders. Invaders sneak. So why would you be able to get past the traps by sneaking? The traps should have a special deactivation method besides killing them with arrows. They are STONE statues. Arrows should do nothing to harm them, and you can't get close to them with melee weapons. So there should be hidden levers or something to turn them off, or there needs to be something like the nature circlet that allows druids to pass through unharmed. But then, if THAT's how you get through, how should the PC's get through without getting utterly blown back to Avernus? So again, it should be some sort of puzzle the player needs to figure out with switches and levers or something so that at the very least they aren't just getting blasted until killed every time they try to traverse those passages.
