I think I have bugged out the game and made this quest line impossible to complete. Here is how I went through this:

1. Saved the goblin sizzara from taking a crossbow to the face

2.Took her back to minthara, agreed to help with the raid cause i wasn't trying to fight a lv 4 Drow. Also note sizzara was killed here. Also note Minthara ran off here.

3. Went to talk to priestess Gut and killed her in her chambers due to sleeping potions not working on elves, so no body guard throat cutting stuff (I think this may have caused the bug)

4. Went back to the grove and accepted the quest to find Haslin the druid or however you spell his name.

5. Rescues the bear man and freed him. At this time the goblins and the grove were friendly towards me.

6. went back to the grove to meet the bear druid and he wasnt there.

7. Went back to the goblin camp, all goblins still friendly, hes not there.

8. Decided to kill the second goblin commander, mr big red man. After killing him all goblins became hostile.

9. Killed every single goblin in the goblin camp.

10. Now I cant find Haslin or Minthara and can't move on with the quest. I need to find haslin to "ready the defences" but it appears hes waiting for me to kill Minthara but she ran off and I cant find her.

11.??????

Anyone had this happen to them? I think by being an elf and not falling asleep with the sleep potion and not triggering the cut scene with Gut I caused a bug.

Groove should by changed by now ...
You can find some oil barrels diged in the ground in front of gates ... if so, you are in "siege" phase now, that would mean you are suppose to "infiltrate" the groove ... wich means, you are suppose to talk with Zevlor on that gate, and then blow his ... ehm ... that giant warhorn, that Wyll blowed in first attack.
That will signal Minthara, that you are in position and she started the assault.

Yeah, the glitch happened at step 2. Minthara will leave her room and walk to the front of the fortress and give a little speech.

Once you go back to the grove after accepting to help her, you should get the cutscene Ragnarok mentioned where Zevlor hurries you inside at the gate itself. If you don't get that cutscene, you want to reload and follow Minthara to the entrance before going back to the Grove. When i fast traveled immediately after accepting her quest in her room, Zevlor's scene never triggered no matter what I did afterward.

It also means that if you accepted to help Minthara and she left the fortress, there is no way for you to move on with the Halsin quest because you can't kill her. Both quests are broken for you. You will have to reload.

Someone mentioned the exactly same issue few days ago ( but in french ^^). Exactly the same. It's clearly a quest bug where the game can't hanle both triggers.

Sometimes doing this isn't enough. I followed her and still got no cutscene with Zevlor.
Reload, followed her again, nothing.

In general, this is a quest Larian really needs to take some time to polish because it can really screw up your entire progress.

Yeah it was pretty frustrating. I tried a whole bunch of things until the following Minthara thing worked for me.
