Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Patch 5?

Was Patch 5 released yesterday? I don't seem to be able to update to get it yet. Mind, I am prone to derp moments. Thanks in advance.

From Larian's twitter:
"We rolled a Nat 1 on our patch release check today, as we found some pesky bugs that we don't want to release into the wild. We've decided to delay the release of Patch 5 until Thursday this week so we can fix these issues for you."

They posted it on Twitter, but could not bother posting a note here on their own forums? Not everyone is a twitter twit (someone that uses twitter).

Well "could not bother" ... that is odd choice of words. :-/
It was here in several (at least three i believe) topics ... and as you can see, another topic was created bcs people "could not bother" to read them ... so the real question about bothering here would be: Why even bother? :P

this is their forum for their game. if they choose not to let the people here know even simple things like patch delays that they put on twitter, then "could not bother" is an appropriate way to put it. Not liking the wording in English doesn't make it any less correct.

Meh, patch 5 got delivered and all was well in the land. Doubt patch 6 will be as "soon" behind this one as Larian says it will be though xD. But hey, I am mostly content with the result.
