I bought into EA on GOG game client and ever since the first major patch, the download size has always been 65GB in size. The game folder is about 70GB in size.

I thought this was unusual and I ask a couple of people how big the download size on steam. The result was shocking as I found out that its significantly smaller than GOG.

For example: Patch one, 4GB on steam and 65GB on GOG. Patch 5, 20gb on steam and 65gb on GOG.
I forgot the other patches but it always seems like the GOG is significantly bigger.

I contacted GOG support many times and got unsatisfactory response. Perphaps larian and shine a light on what is going on.

I would be interested in why this is occurring as well?

not sure if it adds anything... but updating to patch 5 was 40 something gb for me... I'm on steam and the game folder is 71 GB
It was my only update so can't say much more
