It feels like you've turned the frequency of these way way up, possibly to make sure they happen. Because I had Shadowheart and Lae'zel go through like three different exchanges over the course of 5-10 minutes. I'm hoping this is an Eearly Access testing thing.

Did you set it to occasional? You can also turn it off if you prefered. Jess Larian did respond to a thread like this saying if people still find occasional to occur too often they will lower it even more.

Isn't the setting "Occasional/None" thing about how often your character talks when you click things? I would think that would be two different settings.

I love them. If anything, I wish there was more!

Oh, I do love them. I worry about running out before Act I finishes. I have not gotten to saturation point yet.

The companion banter is triggered by certain location points you travel past. Leaving or Entering the Grove is a trigger spot. The area around where Scratch is found is a trigger spot, and sometimes I just circle the area to get a bunch of banter all within a few circuits.

So they're not occurring "more" but that you've come across a banter trigger spot that is easy to trigger multiple times.
