Physical copies are a rarity in PC gaming these days, at least from what I gather, seeing as how most desktops and laptops come without a drive for CDs, so its probably a big and resounding ''no'' to that question. You will probably be able to get a box at your local retail shop but it will more likely than not contain only a Steam Key inside. When full release rolls out I think its safe to expect Larian to roll out a limited series of Collectors edition box with a lot of goodies inside such as map(s), artwork book(s), model figure(s), instruction manual, etc.
Per industry standard it will be overpriced, but money isn't an issue for those that really want stuff like that. I personally would never spend such a wild amount on trinkets but to each their own.
If you want a sneak peak at what it might include go look into DOS2 Collectors Edition boxset and what came inside, they didn't cheap out on the products from what I saw.
Its a shame the industry moved on from physical copies, but I understand the reasoning, both logistically and fiscally, even though I was an avid collector as a kid.
I still have my BG1,2 and IWD1,2 (+ expansions for them) in physical form, all kept to a near mint condition but sadly have no means to play them if I don't buy an external CD drive as my laptop doesn't have one.
