Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Long Rest Issue - Linked to Gale?

My first Long Rest took place at the same time as Gale's "GO TO HELL!" scene, which unfortunately means that Gale is hogging the sleeping bag and fire area, and my character can't click on any of those to progress to the next day.

Troubleshooting:

- Restarting from the previous save
- Tried to click away using M or Waypoints
- Restarted the computer

... this means that I have to go back to a previous save point BEFORE I encountered Gale, to be able to long-rest and progress a bit. A little annoying.

If anyone has a tip -- because I would have to complete the ruined temple with Skelly again, if I do that -- I'm all eyes.

Actually, nevermind -- this thing is not linked to Gale at all. I reloaded the earliest point, right after the Nautiloid crash, went on a long rest -- and surprise surprise, neither the bedroll nor the fire work either with my char all by her lonesome at camp.

HULP.
