Hello,
I am currently playing with patch 5. Since its installation, at least two small updates have been installed. Many problems with the 3D environment. Inaccessible objects, ladder where you fall after climbing, walls impossible to break... This will be fixed later I'm sure.
My real question is: Does the game with patch 5 take more processor resources? Indeed after 20 min of playing the processor temperature exceeds the limits (100°). The first time I noticed this I was in the village near the ogres. This being said, maybe my watercooling is starting to wear out and is not cooling enough anymore.
This problem has never occurred before. But ... Before it broke down it worked. lol

Sincerely

You know that your CPU cant reach 100°Celsius.
It would be automaticly shutting down your PC by BIOS settings.

If you mean Fahrenheit... then you need to name it.
But then 100° Farhenheit equals in around 38° Celsius and is like no heat at all for a CPU watercooled.

So either you disabled common safety measures or your cooling hard and Software is severly malfunctioning.

You might to use better cooling paste and make sure your watercooling is perfectly sitting on your CPU.
Also check up if your Waterpump is running.

-----------
I do have a i5-4670k OCed@4,3Ghz and the Percantage of Processor usage is around 80-100% and bottlenecking my Nvidia RTX2060 6GB.
Games running on highest setttings and having Fps 30-60+ Depending on Area and numbers of items and NPCs around.

Thank you for the answer.
I am talking about degrees Centigrade. A Bios alert put me on the spot.
The watercooling pump and fan (corsair h55) are working.
In principle I have not deactivated any safety device. The bios settings are the factory ones. No overclocking.
I think that there is a lack of liquid in the watercooling. This one has been working for at least 4 years.
I find that the idle operation of the PC is a bit high, (50°-60°) whereas on the internet they speak rather of 40°.

I have high proc usage and same issues re: loading the world scene, characters animations... lot of other funny bugs like people having unprompted/explosive health loss, mostly. Maybe your temp is high because your proc usage is high.
