This is a personal list.
First, there's no deal-breakers going on. The game is fine. The one mechanic I very much disagree with is still one I tolerate, I just would much prefer it to be changed.
So, onto that:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mechanic I most dislike is the Reactions mechanic. Having a toggle to instruct the computer to trigger it automatically should be unnecessary in a turn-based format. And, indeed, the biggest advantage of a turn-based format is the ability to do some things as they are on the table-top.
I've heard the reasoning is that they don't want to interrupt the action, but this feels pretty weak. I want to be able to make those decisions as they occur because just leaving it to auto-trigger is going to foul things up down the line.
I've mentioned this before, but the thought of Counterspell going off against a cantrip and leaving me open to bigger spells occurred to me... that is, if Counterspell is even going to be used in this format.
And you are missing an opportunity for good presentation here. Reactions are a great point to do a slow-mo bullet-time or even just freeze frame record-scratch moment. And then when choice has been made, you can have a zoom-in mini-cinematic a la XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
That's the biggest concern I have.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other mechanical concerns:
Party Size - 4 is about where I want things to sit for a real-world TTRPG event. But for a CRPG, I'd rather go up to either 5 or 6. This will mean battles are longer and will mean battles need to be rebalanced. But even one more slot feels like it would expand the ways one can play the game significantly. As this is a CRPG and not a TTRPG, the game isn't going to be designed on the go by a GM who is reading my party's character sheet and designing stories and challenges based on our backgrounds and capabilities. It is a set story with set obstacles and, as a result, having specific roles is going to be more important. 4 party members is very minimally for insuring all roles are covered, 5 party members gives some flex in case, you want to play a wizard and also have Gale in your party for RP reasons.
Cutscene Skip/Dialogue choice - For the love of Mystra, please make this two separate keys.
Party Move vs Single Character move - Please have a UI toggle somewhere to toggle this, I hate having to go into stealth or turn-based mode in order to get all my characters arranged in specific places.
Familiars/Lack of a Help function - This isn't a much used feature by PCs (though the Mastermind rogue gets good use out of it if that subclass ever makes it here) but I'd like to see it play for familiars. Also, I'd like to see familiars lose the ability to attack unless they are Chain-Lock familiars because attacking familiars is a specifically Chain-Lock thing.
Height Advantage as setting - I am of the school of thought that Height should grant advantage, but this is typically a thing given to GM discretion and not everybody agrees (clearly) so can we please have a setting allowing us to turn this on or off for a game dependent on our personal interpretation of things?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dialogue/RP concerns:
Bloodthirsty Seldarine Drow - Please leave off talk about beautiful violence and such for the Seldarine Drow. The Seldarine Drow are very much Seldarine, ie in the same general character as most other elves. They're historically very kind, patient, and compassionate people. Just copying over the dialogue appropriate to a Lloth-Sworn Drow ... is very jarring.
Godless Acolytes - Currently, if you choose the background "Acolyte" you do not get a choice of gods even though Acolytes are defacto priests.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dialogue/RP wishes:
Myrkul was sadistic and Ao doesn't care - Even if it is just a fill-in-the-blank never used, I'd want the ability to name a god my character follows just for the anxiety purposes. Because the Wall of the Faithless is a thing in Toril's neck of the universe. I only really find the lack of a god for Acolyte concerning since that background is very specifically a priest, but the lack of it in general for all characters does me a concern.
Lots of Gods - Having an expanded list of gods would be nice eventually. I am fond of The Red Knight and Sharess as gods, but they are fairly obscure so I understand why they don't appear.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cosmetic wishes (so very low-priority)
Winged/Hooved tieflings - purely cosmetic, the engine chosen doesn't really deal with flight too well (though kudos on the harpy fight, well done there). But would just like the option to have a tiefling display wings and hooves.
Alternate Gear styles - would be nice to have more variations of leather, robes, chain, and such than just one. Also would like to see alternate versions of Longsword (Katana, Jian, etc) or Scimitar (Shotel, Saber, etc) Having non-magical gear appropriate to different gods would be nice... (that said, if list of gods got expanded to Sharess and Sune... sure I'd expect either/both of them to go for something really sexy but Sharess was a soldier god first, and still is in a lot of ways, and Sune understands the beauty of functionality... so sexy without impracticality please.)
