So… I created a Druid with the hopes of playing a class that completes the party instead of playing the same class as another character. I played for a couple hours, went through the temple, gathered my party, then quickly dispatched the goblins at the Druid Grove. Then all of a sudden, a game breaking glitch. Every single NPC runs from me and refuses to talk to me because of Wild Shape I assume. Perhaps they still see me as a beast even when I’m no longer in the shape. Every dialogue cutscene gets cut short and they run away.
So I decided to make a wizard, though I would prefer a sorcerer and the character just didn’t suit me. After hours of playing, I decided to make a Drow Ranger. Again I played for a few hours, got the Everburn Blade, and everything leading up to the Druid’s Grove and I was enjoying the character. I chose Beast Master to give my Drow a spider companion. Needless to say, the same exact glitch with the Druid occurred and now I have to restart the game for what feels like the tenth time and I’m starting to lose interest in starting over. Hopefully this can be something that’s fixed in the next hot fix. I just thought I would make a post and see if others were experiencing this issue, and also draw notice to it. So far I love the game and can’t wait to see what’s down the road, as I am most certainly happy to be along for the ride.
