Ok so I'm not sure if this particular face is actually intended to be this way, but I wanted to post it anyway just in case..
My half-drow girl pulls this ridiculous grimace in cinematics whenever she's supposed be smiling (pictured here with romanced Astarion greeting):


TBH it's pretty funny, she looks disgusted by everything and everyone all the time!! But it definitely ruins the vibe for A LOT of cinematics (ROMANCE CINEMATICS ESPECIALLY LOL)
I wonder if it's just showing the wrong facial expression for smiling? Please Larian teach my character how to emote like a normal person.

She is my favorite face (see my avatar), but yeah, she could smile a bit more naturally.
Although I get, why she wouldn't smile at the prospect of romancing Astarion.
Jokes aside, I do think, it might be an overlook in face animation.

It just cracks me up a little when she's having a serious heart to heart conversation with someone and she's looking at them all like "ewwww get me out of here" lol

The same happens with the Human head 6. Kinda sad, the most beautiful human face, but this just made me stop playing with her. Too weird seeing her smile in the cutscenes.

oh wow, I just started a new game because I was sick of The Grimace, and I almost picked that exact human head! I'm glad I didn't now, what a shame, since she's so lovely otherwise.
I ended up going tiefling so w/e but I hope this is eventually fixed......despite how unintentionally funny it made certain cinematics it got old after a while lol

I stick with my favorite half elf.
I have two tiefling heads and a halfling head (all female, I don't play male) , that I like too.

It's true that smile is ackward...

@Avallonkao, where do you get this outfit please ? Is it a mod you are using ? All armors or mage clothes I found are always the same so I am bit suprised to see this one.

It's a mod, there's no actual nice clothing in this game so far, Armors I like, but for mages, nope, so thank god for modders. you can get it here https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/97?tab=description

My favorite is the elf head 4 as seen in my avatar. The expressions on her are amazing.
