After having completed my first EA game, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of realism of the game on some aspects of the gameplay.
So I would like to initiate a set of discussions to evaluate what should be done for a survival / realistic mode.

My intention is to use this thread as navigator and refer to existing or new specific threads about the different subtopics of this vast question.

As prerequisite, I think that everybody should agree on the fact that a such mode should be an option.
I fully understand that not all players want this way of playing but for the others, it does not harm to discuss about it wink

Could be designed as a future mod by community or we can also dream about a specific mode like in DOS2 (with Epic mode if I remember well).

At this time, here are the features likely to be impacted :

- Day / Night => here
- Weather => TBD
- Inventory => here
- Camp => TBD
- Resurrection Mechanism => TBD
- Fast Travel => TBD

What more are you talking about exactly when it comes to D:OS2?

If you just mean difficulty modes, then those will likely be there when the game launches - some form of Ironman might also be there. I am unaware of D:OS2 adding any additional mechanics, and things like Day/Night cycle are unlikely to be implimented in any capacity.
