Imagine my surprise (and disappointment) when, after dumping tons O points into Upgrade Summon Doll, I could not untrain it.

Since I "knew" I could untrain any skill (for a price), I thought I'd experiment with the level of the summoned being and re-assign the skill points later while still making progress in the game.

Since that time I've put in tens of hours of game play and would like to get those skill points back.

Do I have to lose all that time and (hopefully) find an old save game before the Upgrade Summon Doll skill was increased? OR do I just have to chalk it up to experience (no pun intended).

So far I've mostly just been using the dolls as mules, so have not tried the related skills.

But how can you use them as mules if they're confined to such a small space?

Easy: summon them in location A, leave them there and then wander off on your own, just DK and char - and everytime you are overloaded - switch to the doll inventory => load them full and continue.

How are you getting the DOLL to hold much of anything if they have not been upgraded? My level 1 DOLL could hold less then 1,000 which could be only a few items as some can weight 250+.

If you do upgrade them I take it you are putting all their points into strength?

I did not upgrade them in any way => concentrate on the top of this screenshot => I had 3 dolls and I didn't care if they were overburdened - they were at a merchant in any case. So, I loaded them full with my loot and then switched to one in the shop, called the merchant and sold.

I only kept valuable stuff with DK and char. I think, this is a good method if you clean up the ground level in the BF. Leave them standing near one merchant each => kill, loot and be merry with DK and char in single mode - and sell. It's like having "teleporter pyramids" near merchants <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
