Has anyone encountered such a bug: After killing Ethel in the Tea House, she reappears in the cave next to the cauldron?

Good one! Double XP, double loot (?). But no, she's supposed to retreat from the first fight when she loses enough HP. The retreat is scripted (or it was the last time I fought her), so it was effectively unstoppable.

It is scripted ...
But scripts are runing in turn of that NPC ...

So if you buff your party with everything, and manage to kill her before she even moves ... you can easily avoid it.

Ya the first time I met her at Teahouse I flat out killed her, and got what seemed to be most of her inventory that she was selling as a vendor at druid's grove. After a reload and fighting her again, she surrendered during the second fight. Gave me a lame patch of hair that didn't seem to do anything. I preferred the flat out killing her for her inventory...

I always managed to kill her right away, interrogate with spells and loot her, like this time. But this time she appears at the cauldron, where she can be killed during the dialogue, after which her corpse disappears and she no longer appears. If you do not kill during the dialogue, she still does not appear exactly anymore.
