Once i enter the Dead Forest, Samuel's Hunter is supposed to attack you right? Well, when i entered, he didn't attack. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> I tried approaching him from different angles, but he doesn't seem to realize i'm there. On the plus side, monsters notice me, but don't attack as well. :P Free exp, woo.

Eek! Don't save, try reloading and see if this bug happens again.

That doesn't sound particularly good. I'm afraid to say i've already saved. I do have a normal save at the beginning of the act though.

Hmm... Come to think of it, I've heard of this bug being mentioned a few times before. Do you have the latest (v1.44) patch?

I'll have to find out how other people fixed this problem, if only I could find those posts...

The Tibar seems to be stuck in some cases - I'd reload. Don't recall another fix so far.

Yea, i have the latest patch. I just loaded to a previous save. Yay for 5 different autosaves. :P

I use autosave only too, why not? Save every 10 minutes... Don't see the harm in that.

What if you realize you made a mistake, missed something or ran into a bug an hour ago? (missed the summoning doll in act 1, spent an hour in the BF before the patch fixed a bug which would not let you leave...)

I don't care if I missed anything. In fact, I'm glad if I missed something. It's always nice to find new things the second or third time you play the game.

As for bugs, I check the forums regularily, so I know what bugs to watch out for. Most of them seem to be caused by the BF or the SD. I don't use either anyway, so...

Tovi, nice to see your approach in there - but some gamers get angry, when they discover a crucial error and can't redo it by re-loading.
Imagine, you forgot to get all 3 Raanaar books to understand all manuscripts in Act 4 - or you didn't know when linearity kicked in and missed a lot of unfinished quests etc.

So, I do think, it's better to make a different save, here and there. Everyone to his/her decision, though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I don't use ALL autosaves. :P I do have a normal save which i make at the beginning of every act.
