Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems save crash corrupted load

Recently after 40+ gaming hours I quick saved and my game crashed in the middle of the save. This happened before then but luckily my load file still worked.
On this Load file the game fills the bar half way full and then freezes there forever. I checked some of the other messeges in the technical forum so i got some idea's. I deleted all the files in the dynamic folder and installed the latest hot patch. Is there anything else i can do to Make my game load again?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

are you using a no cd crack?

No. i play the game off of the actual disc

i hope your last save isn't far back.
Because probably the game wasn't able to complete the save in time..

I still dont know for shure though.

Check the number of files in the save which will not load. Files are added when first entering new areas, but you start off with 22 and should be up to 32 after visiting Verdistis and the Dark Forest.
