My Current Computer has to run on the lower settings but there appears to be a new graphical error on parts of the screen.

About 1/3rd of the bottom portion of the screen and 1/5th of the right side have a flashing issue. Sometimes it shows up in squares, others parts of a model just disappear like the nose of my Avatar. On the Mind Flayer ship the errors turned a red hue.

Is this a known issue? If so is there a known fix or is this something I should wait on?

I know what you're talking about. I've got the exact same problem. I'm running an I7 that's about six years old with an Nvidia Quadro graphics card. I assume it's just not good enough to play the game.

That's why I picked up another copy of the game on Stadia.

Unfortunately, Stadia isn't updated to patch 6: headdesk

I appreciate you responding and I really hope that's not the case. That's about the same age of my computer.

Hei,
I encounter the same issue (transparent black (or other color) boxes in a bar on the lower and on the right screen border), when using the DX11 API. As Vulkan API is rather slow, and I have a rather old graphics card (GTX 770 - I know, it is below the min specs, but with a bit of optimization - see below -, it works pretty well), using Vulkan is not an option. I have read in a different forum that updating Nvidia does the trick ... but unfortunately Nvidia ended the Kepler architecture support in September/October - so the newest Nvidia driver fixing this issue will not work for me.

But I discovered a fair work around: Using "AMD FSR 1.0: Ultra Quality" in the video settings reduces this annoying bars to just a thin line on the right side. And, actually, graphics quality is pretty good smile with this setting.

Before finding this, I used most low graphics settings to get acceptable FPS, so I never tried this setting. And now comes the best: the FPS is stable around 30-40 (ok, it is not the world, but fair enough for playing and still allows for these rather nice graphics settings as God rays, or Bloom effects).

Hope that helps wink
