I've got the settings on ultra but everything looks washed out and no where near as good as the last patch. I missing something? My settings haven’t changed at all between updates.
patch 5 vs patch 6

Faces look washed out. The models are lacking depth that they had before.
I feel like the environmental lighting is better but it’s left the cinematic/character scenes behind.

Yeah, the new lighting needs a little work. I mean in some places it looks great, but others... not so much. For example, when I reached the crypt under the chapel on my newest playthrough and Spooky Tomb Boy crawled out of his coffin it wasn't nearly as intimidating as before because the crypt is bright as day now. Just like strange shapes and flickering shadow become far less frightening in the cold light of day, this was decidedly less "ancient undead prying himself out of his grave" and rather more "grandpa waking up from his afternoon nap." Really took away from the atmosphere of the moment, if you ask me. Lowering gamma settings made the tomb a little darker again, but made everything look vaguely orange once I got outdoors, like the sun had been replaced with a big candle.

Once more I am falsely accused of whatever it is that I am accused of. Falsely.
